Both of my coats from previous years were beyond their expiration date... something about stains and buttons missing not being chic?! I hated to see them go, especially the Marc Jacobs coat I convinced my dad to purchase on super sale while I was in nursing school with no job. All good things must come to an end though. This pretty replacement was on sale for $169.99 with an additional 30% off at J.Crew a few weeks ago. Yahtzee!
Who is proud of me for selecting color?! It had absolutely nothing to do with it being the only color available, too. :-)

ReplyDeleteAHH! Greatttt minds! :-) This coat IN this color is on my wishlist. I REALLY want it. I love the shape, color, everything. So feminine and gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love the coat and everything about your outfit! The scarf is such a great touch.
ReplyDeleteLove the second pic with the red leaves! The coat is gorgeous. And so are you! The color is prettier in person. It's color but also a great neutral in my opinion. But then again, I dont write a fashion and beauty blog. ;)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this oufit! I really love your boots, where are they from??? :)
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies!! :-) The boots are Sam Edelman- I purchased them at Nordstrom during the Anniversary sale.
ReplyDeletelove.
ReplyDeleteis this coat color a little bright?
ReplyDeleteyour pics make it look lovely and like a deep brown/burgandy, but others it looks different.
help!
Anon- It's a beautiful coat. Very much a rich plum color as indicated by the name. I simply love it and even though its 'color' think it still manages to be a neutral. I don't think you'll be disappointed, best of luck!
